DJ and Producer, Sef Kombo has always been a man of genuine passion, a passion to let the globe know what the African House sounds mean to him, over the last 15 years he has been so immersed in the vibe, the rhythm, the culture and the deeper roots behind the music. Sef Kombo’s journey is one uses the dance floor to tell. A style so unique, you can’t help but be drawn in and take your seat on the ride.
Sef Kombo has over the years been recognised across the globe by many established producers and djs. Sef Kombo has played alongside Black Coffee, Themba, Culoe De Song, Diplo, Black Motion and many more. Sef has also taken to himself to the international stage playing at Defected Croatia and Rokslide Festival as well as Boiler Room, DJ Mag, Hi’Ibiza, Djoon, Watergate and Blue Marlin.
Sef Kombo has held a residency on BBC Radio 1xtra and has also presented a number of cover shows on the network to further his skills as national broadcaster, enabling to build a vast musical knowledge and how to project it over the airwaves.
2009 saw Sef Kombo create his highly popular brand Til Two, establishing a firm foothold in London and surrounding areas as thee place to absorb the best and more forward thinking music electronic music from Africa, maintaining this for 10 years culminating in to huge 10 year anniversary part talking place at a well known super club in London. Sef Kombo also heads up a residency at Motherland and Sessions which project a more immersive experience with sound and visuals and has booked Da Capo, Atjazz, Djeff at these events.
Since 2020, Sef Kombo has now become a part of Defected Records as an A&R, aiming to connect the thriving Afro House music with an even wider audience, exhibiting and unearthing the amazing talents to the world. Whilst also being on the Mixmag cover and named one of the top UK DJs of 2021.
Sef Kombo is never afraid to play the unfamiliar, the trust and respect over the years had been earned by those who have had the chance to hear him.
